At STONELEAF PUBLISHING HOUSE, we are looking for polished, well-written manuscripts. We are passionate about finding fiction that includes engaging characters, a strong plot, good storytelling, and lovely writing with a distinct voice. When it comes to non-fiction, we are particularly drawn to projects that will move readers and leave them thinking. Great non-fiction makes a provocative argument or shares compelling research and offers useful new advice and information.

 

If your manuscript is accepted and ready to go, you pay one flat fee at the start of the publishing process. From there, Stoneleaf professionals will expertly handle everything, including all the pieces of the publication process, distribution, and plenty of marketing. 

 

If we like your submission but think it requires editorial support, we'll tell you. The cost of using an editor to bring your book up to acceptable standards is not included in our one-time fee.

We'll recommend a list of our preferred editors, and if you decide to use one of them, we'll guarantee publication. Stoneleaf does not profit from the services of its preferred editors. To save time, we'll proceed with parts of the process while the editorial work is underway. Of course, you can use any editor of your choosing and re-submit to us, but we cannot guarantee that your book will be accepted.

 

Currently at STONELEAF PUBLISHING HOUSE we are accepting all genres except erotica and horror. We do not publish coffee table books, cookbooks, or graphic novels. Please read our "How Does it Work" page before submitting. 
To submit, please prepare a short query letter and include the following: 

• Word count

• Genre

• Synopsis

• First three chapters of your manuscript

• Your phone number
